OTTAWA – One of the flagship events for the 2004 "Kickin' It In The Capital" Grey Cup festival will also be one of the largest, and most exciting.

The Great Big Canadian Evening is scheduled for the night of Friday, November 19, in conjunction with the many festivities surrounding the Grey Cup. Beginning at the Ottawa Congress Centre, the exclusive showcase of Canadian food, drink and entertainment (hosted by CBC's Brian Williams) will feature a pair of home grown musical talents. The first of the two concerts is a special performance by British Columbia's Spirit of the West. Following that show, guests of the Great Big Canadian Evening will be shuttled on a VIP bus to Lansdowne Park for the Molson Canadian Rocks Great Big Sea Concert.

"This is an event waiting for everyone to come celebrate Canada's capital, its provinces and its football teams in a truly Canadian fashion," says Monique Stone, Chair of the Event Committee for Grey Cup 2004. "There are only a limited number of tickets left and we are looking forward to an exciting evening."

Tickets to the Great Big Canadian Evening are on sale now by phoning Lynn Gordon at 613-234-5502. Individuals can purchase them at $250 apiece, while tables to the Great Big Canadian Evening are $2,500 for a group of 10.

To purchase tickets to the Grey Cup 2004 game, or the remaining regular season Renegades home game on October 30 vs Hamilton, call Ticketmaster at 613-755-1166.

The 92nd Grey Cup Game will be held on Sunday, November 21 at Frank Clair Stadium in Ottawa. The Renegades are honoured to host Canada's premiere sporting festival and event.
