
Gorillas holding Halloween party on Saturday night

AMARILLO, TX â The Amarillo Gorillas are holding a Halloween Party this Saturday night when they host the Tulsa Oilers at 7 p.m. at The Jungle in the Amarillo Civic Center.
Fans of all ages are encouraged to dress up and they could win a prize that will be awarded during the first intermission. The Gorillas' players are also going to be dressed up in their Halloween jerseys and an auction follows in the Ape Escape after the game.
This is the first of two meetings this season between the two rivals that dates back to the 2002-2003 season when Amarillo beat Tulsa on the final weekend of the regular season to advance to the CHL playoffs.
This is also Kids Inc night and coaches still have time to submit their team information for the group night. It is not too late to get involved in this annual activity.
Gorillas tickets are available at the Hockey Office located at 1934 Civic Circle; the Civic Center Box Office, all Panhandle Tickets located at Randy's Music Mart, the WT Event Center in Canyon and United Supermarkets. Fans can charge by phone at 378-3096 or 242-7825.
Saturday's game can also be heard live on 1440 Am The Score, beginning with the Farmer's Insurance Group Warm-Up Show at 6:40 p.m. followed by the face-off shortly after 7 p.m. of Amarillo Gorillas Hockey Presented by Bank Of America.
