Gorillas Blacktop Hockey Tour Stop at United Supermarket at Bell/45th Streets this Saturday

AMARILLO TX â The Amarillo Gorillas Blacktop Hockey Tour will make its second stop of the summer at United Supermarket this Saturday.
The traveling road show that teaches children the fundamentals of the game of hockey will be at the United Supermarket at Bell and 45th Streets from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. As part of the tour, people are encouraged to drop by non-perishable food items that will be given to the High Plains Food Bank.
"We are thrilled to be making our second of three stops to United Supermarkets and want to thank them for joining forces this summer," said Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Denis J. Puska. "Our Blacktop Hockey Tour has been a huge success this summer with more bookings than ever before."
Director of Youth Hockey Jason Desloover, the Gorillas Mascot Stomp, and some players will be taking part in this week's stop. Fans are encouraged to drop by and look at Gorillas merchandise and find out about the upcoming Gorillas season as well as the up coming youth hockey season.
The Amarillo Gorillas are gearing up for the 2003-2004 season and fans are encouraged to inquire about full and partial Season Ticket packages, by calling 242-7825.
