
Gorillas announce game day ticket sales

The Amarillo Gorillas will be launching Game Day Ticket Sales in a big way on Saturday.
Fans are encouraged to drop by from 10 a.m. to noon and pick up their individual game tickets for the 2002-2003 season at the Amarillo Civic Center. With every purchase of two tickets to the home opener, fans will receive a Gorillas t-shirt. While picking up tickets, fans can watch the players skate.
The Amarillo Gorillas will open their inaugural Central Hockey League season on Friday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. when they host arch-rival Lubbock Cotton Kings. It promises to be a memorable night as professional hockey in Amarillo faces off a new era of local ownership.
The Gorillas will host the New Mexico Scorpions in an exhibition game on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. This will be a great chance for fans to check out who will be on their hockey club this year as players battle for positions. All seats for this game will be just $5.
