Gorillas announce exhibition game and single game seats

AMARILLO, TX – Hockey fever is set to invade the panhandle as the Amarillo Gorillas prepare for their third year in the Central Hockey League.

The Gorillas announced today that single game seats will go sale on Friday, Oct. 1 at 8:30 a.m. at the Corporate Offices located at 1934 Civic Circle. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Civic Center Box Office, all Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets, Randy's Music Mart and the WT Event Center in Canyon. Fans can call to charge by phone at 242-7825 or 378-3096.

This year's individual seat ticket prices will be $20 for Silver in the front row; $18 for Green Level and $16 for Red Level. There is also a Child's price for ages 15 and under for $10 and a student price for high school and colleges at $12, excluding the front row. Students must show their ID in order to get the special price.

The Gorillas also announced today that they will be hosting the Lubbock Cotton Kings on Saturday, October 16 in an exhibition game at The Jungle in the Amarillo Civic Center. Game time is set for 7 p.m. and all seats will be $5 for this game only. This will be fan's opportunity to see the 2004-2005 Amarillo Gorillas take shape.

Training camp for the Amarillo Gorillas will start on Monday, Oct. 11 at the Jungle in the Amarillo Civic Center. There will be two a day skating sessions from 10 am to 12 noon and 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for the Monday and Tuesday. Training camp sessions will on Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The 2004-2005 Amarillo Gorillas season inches closer every day with just 23 days until the season opener on Friday, October 22 at 7 p.m. when they host the Odessa Jackalopes at 7 p.m. at The Jungle in the Amarillo Civic Center. Full and partial season tickets as well as corporate partnerships are still available by either dropping by the offices at 1934 Civic Circle or by calling 242-7825.
