Gorillas add to local ownership group

AMARILLO, TX – The winning tradition established by the Amarillo Gorillas on the ice each of the past two seasons has translated to great success off the ice.

Hockey Sports of Amarillo, the 100 per cent local ownership group of the Amarillo Gorillas of the Central Hockey League, is pleased to announce today that three new members have been added to its group.

The group has added Amarillo residents Zona Faucett, Ruby Richards and Dr. David Duncan.

Faucett and Richards are long time hockey fans of Amarillo and have been atttending games for many years. Local dentist Dr. David Duncan is an Amarillo native and is married to wife, Janet, and has a son Austin.

"Hockey Sports of Amarillo is excited and thrilled to have these great people on board," said General Managing Partner Gary Thach. "We always welcome such interested parties into our ownership group."

The Amarillo Gorillas return to action tomorrow (Thursday) night when they host the San Angelo Saints at the Bank One Jungle at 7 p.m. Fans who show a Friday or Saturday ticket stub at the Gorillas Hockey Office or Civic Center Box Office can receive tickets for just $5.

This is the sixth and final meeting of the regular season between these two divisional rivals with the Gorillas winning both games at the Bank One Jungle. There could be a playoff confrontation on the horizon between these two Texas teams.
