The Oshawa Generals send well wishes to Cliff Pu as he leaves tomorrow to represent Team Canada Black as part of Canada's U-17 Hockey Challenge roster.

The U-17 Hockey Challenge brings together the top players in the world born in 1998 or later. The under-17 program is the first step in Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence. Many players who compete at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge go on to represent Canada with the National Men's Under-18 Team, National Junior Team, and National Men's Team.

Many former and current Generals have played in Canada's U-17 tournament including Scott Laughton, Daniel Altshuller, Michael Dal Colle, Mitchell Vande Sompel, and Sam Harding, to name a few.

Oshawa Generals Athletic Therapist, Matt Leech will also be away with Team Canada for the U-17 tournament and we wish him the best.

The Oshawa Generals organization wish Cliff, Matt, and all of Team Canada the best of luck at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
