Glens Falls: This was no pitcher's duel but it all came down to one run at the end of the game as the Golden Eagles prevailed 8-7 over the visiting Utica Brewers. Kevin Cowan (William Patterson) got the pitching win as he threw 1.2 innings of no hit ball while Adam Somers (Fisher) took the loss despite only allowing one hit.
It was a back and forth game all night as the lead changed hands six times over the course of the game. Offense ruled supreme as 6 players turned in multi-hit nights.
Ryan Dodge (Nova Southeastern-14) and Colton Montgomery (Georgia College) both had two RBI nights for the Golden Eagles. Ian McLoughlin spearheaded the Brewers effort as he went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored but it wasn't enough to lift his team.
