JUPITER, FL - When the Hammerheads have needed a walk-off this season Ryan Goetz has been the man to deliver. On Sunday Goetz's sac fly in the 12th inning scored Noah Perio to give Jupiter a 4-3 win over Dunedin.

It was the Sharks' second walk-off of the season and each time the winning run has been driven in by Goetz.

The bottom of the 12th started when Viosergy Rosa pulled a leadoff double to right. Perio came in to pinch run for Rosa and Jesus Solorzano bunted him to third. Terrence Dayleg and Josh Adams would then draw back-to-back walks bringing Goetz to the plate with the bases loaded.

On a 2-2 pitch from Jesse Hernandez, Goetz hit a fly ball to right field. When the throw home by the right fielder was off the mark Perio scored standing up and the Hammerheads were celebrating their second straight win.

Dayleg was the one who sent the game to extras when he came up big in the eighth. With runners on the corners and the Sharks trailing 3-1, Dayleg pulled a double down the third base line to score Matt Juengel and Viosergy Rosa to tie the game.

To that point the Hammerheads had been trailing since the first inning when Dalton Pompey reached on an error by Anthony Gomez, advanced to third when Austin Brice's pickoff throw was wild and scored on a ground out.

The Blue Jays would strike for two more in the fourth when Derrick Chung drove home two with a single to make it 3-0.

Jupiter would get a run back in the sixth when Colin Moran hit a one-out double and later scored when Jesus Solorzano singled up the box.

After Dayleg tied it in the eighth the Hammerheads had a chance to win the game in regulation with Dayleg at third with two outs in the eighth.

Just as Goetz stepped to the plate it started raining and the tarp was pulled on to the field. After a delay of 29 minutes Goetz was intentinally walked and Gomez flied out to end the threat.

The Hammerheads would get at least one runner on base in the ninth, tenth and eleventh before finally breaking through in the 12th.

Frankie Reed got the win for the Sharks, his second of the year, after he tossed three scoreless innings out of the bullpen.

Brice, who made the start, allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits in six innings. It was his fourth quality start of the year.

The bullpen was fantastic as Sam Alvis, Blake Logan and Reed combined to toss six shutout innings.

Jupiter and Dunedin will play the third game of the series on Monday night at Roger Dean Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.

WP: Frankie Reed (2-2)

LP: Jesse Hernandez (3-4)
