Goaltender Nathan Lawson Reassigned to Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that goaltender Nathan Lawson has been reassigned by the club's National Hockey League affiliate Ottawa Senators from Binghamton to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Lawson, 29, spent the 2011-12 season with the Hamilton Bulldogs where he posted a record of 19-17-4 with a 2.57 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage in 44 games.

Prior to joining the Bulldogs, the native of Calgary spent the previous three seasons with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

The 6-2, 190-pound Lawson has played in four professional seasons, including 127 AHL games with Bridgeport and Hamilton. Undrafted, he played three seasons with the Western Collegiate Athletic Association's University of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves from 2004-05 to 2006-07.

The Jackals are in action tonight as they host the Wheeling Nailers at 7:05 p.m.
