SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Sand Gnats complete 2007 schedule is now available at www.sandgnats.com. The Gnats will open at home on Thursday, April 5 at 7:05 p.m. against the Asheville Tourists. Opening Day will be one of 10 Thirsty Thursdays scheduled for the year.
The team will be home for the Fourth of July for the first time since 2003 as they host the Rome Braves. For the first time since 2004, the Gnats will end the season at home as they close the season with a four-game series against the Columbus Catfish during Labor Day weekend.
