GLVC Tournament Schedule to Change

The Great Lakes Valley Conference Baseball Tournament at GCS Ballpark has a change in its schedule due to the heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours.
The first game of the tournament between the University of Southern Indiana and the University of Indianapolis has been moved to 5:00 p.m. Game two has been moved to Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and will start at 7:00 p.m. Game two features Bellarmine University and Northern Kentucky University. The final game for Thursday has been rescheduled to 8:00 p.m. between Saint Joseph's College and SIU-Edwardsville. It will be held at GCS Ballpark.
Friday and Saturday follow the original time schedule with games at 12:00, 3:00, and 6:00 p.m. at GCS Ballpark and Sunday's championship game takes place at 12:00 p.m. If a second game is necessary, it will be played immediately following game one.
Tickets for the tournament are available at the GCS Ballpark box office. An all-tournament pass can be obtained for $25. Single day, all day passes are available for $10 for adults, $5 for students with college I.D., $5 for youths K-12, and children five and under are free. Sunday's championship game tickets are available for $8 for adults, $3 for students with college I.D., $3 for youths K-12, and children five and under are free
The Grizzlies are the defending West Division Champions. They begin their eighth Frontier League season May 21 when they host the Southern Illinois Miners.
Season tickets, mini-plans and group outings are currently on sale and are available by calling the Grizzlies at 618-337-3000 or visiting the GCS Ballpark ticket office in person.
