
Gladiators sign AFL veterans Bell and Moore

LAS VEGAS, NV, February 3, 2006 - The Las Vegas Gladiators announced today the signing of Arena Football League veterans OL/DL Otis Moore and WR/DB Herman Bell. To make room on the roster, Las Vegas placed Bryan Ray, who injured his ankle in practice on Wednesday, on Injured Reserve.
Moore (6-4, 280, Clemson) is a 12-year AFL veteran who has played for eight different AFL teams, including the Gladiators while they were in New Jersey. He has totaled 19.5 sacks and 135.5 tackles throughout his career.
Bell (5-7, 177 Jacksonville State) spent the last two seasons with the Colorado Crush. Prior to that he was with the Detroit Fury, where he had 44 receptions for 445 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2003.
The Gladiators home opener is Monday night against Western Division rival the San Jose SaberCats at the Thomas & Mack Center. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM PM.
