Las Vegas Gladiators News Release
Las Vegas, NV, June 30, 2005 - As part of their season ending Fan Appreciation Day, the Las Vegas Gladiators gave away two automobiles to lucky Gladiator fans. Following season long promotions, Travis Cychosz of Las Vegas won a Saturn Ion courtesy of Saturn of Henderson and West Sahara and Darren Stephen of Las Vegas won a Toyota Scion courtesy of Findlay Toyota.
Cychosz was one of 10 participants entered into the final stage of the Saturn give-away after catching a ball of the net in an on-field promotion during a previous game. During the final stage, each contestant lined up at the goal line to run to the center of the field and grab a present. Each present at the center of the field had a Gladiators keychain inside and the person who had the key on their keychain won the vehicle.
Stephen became the winner of the Toyota Scion after 50 contestants had the opportunity to win as well. The 50 contestants made mini footballs in the sunroof of the Scion during the Fling-A-Football promotion during each regular season home game. At the Gladiators final regular season contest, each contestant lined up at the center of the field and was given keys for every mini football they made into the sunroof of the Scion. Some contestants were issued more than one key if they made more than one ball into the car, yet Stephen was only issued one key and it turned out to be the winner.
The Gladiators fourth season at the Thomas & Mack Center kicks off in 2006. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Gladiators office at 702-731-4977 or logging onto www.lvgladiators.com.
