Giveaways Again Tonight in Fort Worth

In honor of the 125th anniversary of professional baseball in Cowtown and the Fort Worth Cats reaching the championship playoff series, the team is joining with the Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau to provide unique Fort Worth gifts for all of the Cats' playoff games Thursday, August 15 through Monday, August 19 if necessary.
The giveaways began Thursday night in game one as a lucky winner in attendance for the Cats' victory was randomly selected at the top of each inning. The giveaways will continue for the rest of this championship series.
The gifts will include admission to all the best venues Fort Worth has to offer, including TCU football, the Fort Worth Zoo, the Colonial, Coyote Drive-In, and much more. Come join in the fun at historic LaGrave Field as the Cats seek their 17th championship banner!
Another special treat awaiting fans in game two Friday night is an honorary first pitch by 105.3 The Fan's RJ Choppy. RJ has been part of sports talk in the DFW area for over a decade, and currently is the co-host of "New School with Shan and RJ", which can be heard weekdays from 5:30 - 10am.
The Cats are also offering half price playoff tickets for all police, firefighters and military personnel. Playoff tickets can be purchased by calling the ticket office at (817) 332-CATS or by going online to FWCats.com.
