Buffalo Silverbacks News Release

Buffalo, NY. The ABA Buffalo Silverbacks, with the support of Creditors Interchange, have completed 70 of their "Do Your Best, Never Quit" life seminars throughout the Western New York community. The positive feedback from the seminars has been overwhelming as shown in a letter from Tahera Parvez, Families in Harmony Program Coordinator for the Girl Scouts.

"I want to express my sincere appreciation for taking the time to present the "Do Your Best, Never Quit" program to Families in Harmony. I have never experienced a program like yours and I know the lesson of putting your best foot forward and not getting caught up in the "final score" resonated with both my staff and participants and inspired us all.

Thank you for speaking to the importance of education. It is often difficult for youth to see the long-term benefits of pursuing educational goals. You spoke very eloquently (Modie Cox) to the fact that education has the power to open doors. Your sincere passion for the "Do Your Best, Never Quit" program was absolutely evident and the participants were motivated by your story.

I can safely say that this was among the greatest workshops we have had in the program and this is evidenced by the fact that the kids have already asked "When is Mr. Modie" coming again? On behalf of the Families in Harmony program, I would again like to thank you for a wonderful session. We would be honored to have you back in the fall at our after-school program."

Made possible largely in part with the support of Creditors Interchange, the "Do Your Best, Never Quit" life seminar has made a direct impact on thousands of children in the Western New York community. Dr. Richard L. Jacob, Head Coach and GM of the Silverbacks said, "We would like to thank Creditors Interchange for their continued support; they've truly helped make a difference in the community."
