Buffalo - After lengthy negotiations, the Buffalo Silverbacks are excited to announce the Buffalo State College Sports Arena as their home venue for the 2006-2007 season. Dr. Richard L. Jacob, General Manager and Head Coach said "at a critical juncture in our franchise history, this partnership with Buffalo State College allows us to offer the Western New York community the excitement of pro basketball in a world class facility. We appreciate their trust and support and are pleased with the opportunity to contribute to the quality of life on the Buff State Campus."

This summer the Silverbacks, with the support with the support of Creditors Interchange, launched their "DO YOUR BEST, NEVER QUIT" community youth initiative and have conducted over 70 life seminars across the region since June 1, 2006. Pre-Season Camp opens October 1, 2006 with the first home game is scheduled for November 16th versus the Rochester Razorsharks.
