Vancouver, B.C. - General Manager Barclay Parneta announced today that the team has signed 2005-born forward Tyler Thorpe (Richmond, BC) to a Standard WHL Player Agreement.
Tyler Thorpe (6'5", 205-pounds) was signed by the Giants after starting the season with the Langley Rivermen of the BCHL. He scored two goals and added an assist for three points in nine games to start the season. He had 17 points in 33 games last season as a 16-year-old with the Richmond Sockeyes in the PIJHL.

The G-Men are on the road for the next few weeks, and the first stop is in Edmonton for a game against the Oil Kings tonight.
