All four games will be televised live on Comcast Hometown Network, Channel 104. Joe Ritzo handles the play-by-play while color commentary duties will be provided by Joe Castellano. The entire series can also be heard live on sjgiants.com and inside Municipal Stadium on 92.9 FM with Justin Allegri calling the action. Radio broadcasts begin 30 minutes prior to first pitch with The Giants Pregame Show. Giants Begin Four-Game Series Against Stockton Tonight

The San Jose Giants return home this evening to begin a four-game series against the Stockton Ports at Municipal Stadium. Jason Forjet is slated to make the start on the mound for San Jose tonight. The Giants are 7-6 against Stockton this season, including a 4-2 mark at Municipal Stadium.

Road Trip Review

The Giants posted a 3-4 record on their road trip that concluded last night. San Jose split a four-game series in Bakersfield before dropping two out of three in Visalia. The Giants notched a 9-5, 10-inning series-opening win over the Rawhide on Monday before suffering a 2-1 loss on Tuesday and then falling 5-4 in 11 innings yesterday. It marks the first time since July 3-4 that San Jose has lost back-to-back games.

Won 16 Of 21

Despite losses the last two nights, the Giants enter this evening's contest having gone 16-5 in their last 21 games. San Jose enjoyed a seven-game winning streak from July 7-13 and a six-game winning streak from July 16-21.

The Giants pitching staff has enjoyed tremendous success during the club's recent surge. Over the last 21 games (16-5 record), San Jose owns a team ERA of 2.18 (48 ER/198.1 IP). The Giants have surrendered two runs or fewer in 14 out of their last 20 games.

Christian Arroyo Shortstop Christian Arroyo is batting at a .345 clip since the All-Star break (29 games). Arroyo has 12 multi-hit contests in the second half. Despite spending six weeks on the disabled list in the first half (April 16-May 29), Arroyo is second on the team with 20 doubles (in 56 games). His .322 overall batting average leads the club.

Infielder Brandon Bednar has hit safely in a season-high eight straight games. Bednar is batting at a .367 clip (11-for-30) with a home run and 10 RBI's during the streak.

Dominant Bullpen

Over the last nine games, the Giants bullpen has thrown 45 2/3 innings and allowed only three earned runs (0.60 ERA). San Jose's bullpen ERA in July is 1.69.

Up Next

After this series against Stockton, the Giants embark on a seven-game road trip to Modesto (three games) and Lake Elsinore (four games). San Jose is in the midst of a stretch playing 14 out of 18 games on the road (July 23-August 9).
