July 20, 2003 - SPHL (SPHL)
Macon Trax News Release

Tuesday July 15, 2003 the official press conference took place announcing that the Macon Trax Office is open and a staff is in place.

Our staff has hit the rails fast and furious with the signing of three Corporate Partners.

1. Beyond Taboo Tattoo – Once again the infamous tongue twister will be heard by all of the Trax Fans "IT'S A BEYOND TABOO TATTOO - POWER PLAY." Lil' Rat, the owner/operator of the tattoo parlor takes the number one spot for Corporate Partners by contacting Joe Suk (Macon Trax General Manager) and committing to the 2003 – 2004 Macon Trax season.

2. Aaron's Rents – has climbed on board for this season in a big way. The nationwide corporation will supply our office furnishings and player apartments with furniture. Macon Trax fans will also be able to take advantage of the Aaron's Rents Best Seats in the House during all 30 of our home games. Russ Friedrichsen (Macon Trax Director of Operations) and Michael Duprey of Aaron's rents grabbed the opportunity to make this a powerful partnership.

3. Builders Express, Inc. located in Perry, Ga. and Renee' Bilbrey (Macon Trax Director of Marketing and Community Relations) worked together to bring this Partnership a reality. Macon Trax Fans will now be hearing, "Builders Express is nailing the door shut on the Penalty Box."

Joe Suk (General Manager) adds: "We are thrilled to have these three companies climb aboard for the 2003-2004 Macon Trax season. Lil' Rat has been a loyal supporter of hockey in Middle Georgia since its inception . Not only has his sponsorship brought excitement to the power play, he has been a #1 fan to our guys. We are very excited to welcome two new partners on board with Builders Express, Inc. and Aaron's Rents. ‘Hockey for the Heart of Georgia' is becoming a reality with the commitment of Builders Express which is a Perry, GA based company. And as a result of the Aaron Rents partnership, two lucky fans at each of the thirty home games will be watching the games in style in the Aaron Rents ‘Best Seats in the House' section. This is a great start to what is going to be an incredible season of Trax Hockey."
