Cleveland Monsters News Release
The Time is Near!
The return of professional hockey to Northeast Ohio is almost here. And you can be there when the Monsters hit the ice for the first time at The Q on October 6th. Individual tickets for the team's inaugural season will go on sale Saturday, September 8th. Monsters Insiders - subscribers to the team's free e-newsletter - will be able to purchase tickets early through an exclusive pre-sale.
Interested in buying a ticket package, but want to check out the seats first? Come on down to The Q on Thursday when the Monsters and Cavs co-host an Open House. Fans will be able to see the best available seats for the coming season, as well have the first chance to purchase five and 15 game ticket plans.
With your tickets, you'll be on-hand for all the Monsters excitement. But don't worry, you won't have to miss a minute of the action when the team is on the road. Today the Monsters just announced their partnership with ESPN 850 WKNR, so home or away, you'll be able to listen to your favorite team.
You can get your first dose of the Monsters on the radio this afternoon! Tune into ESPN 850 WKNR for "Munch on Sports" beginning at 4:50 p.m. and hear from Len Komoroski, Cavaliers/Monsters/Quicken Loans Arena President, as well as Monsters head coach Joe Sacco and the new radio voice of the team, John Michael.
