Tampa Bay Rowdies News Release
Come out this Saturday, July 31st, to cheer on your FC Tampa Bay Rowdies as they close out their four-game homestand against the future MLS side Portland Timbers. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
The Rowdies (6-7-5) are going into their last July match at home following a 2-0 win over Miami FC. With goals by Captain Julian Valentin and Aaron King, the Rowdies held onto their playoff position
and now lead the Coastal Cup rivalry series. King's goal made him FC Tampa Bay's leading scorer with five goals this season.
The Timbers (7-6-5) are heading into Tampa after a 3-0 loss to AC St. Louis on Wednesday night, which ended their five-game unbeaten streak. St. Louis' Mike Ambersley recorded his first hat trick of the season, leading St. Louis to the first win of a five-game homestand.
Tickets are on sale now for the game this Saturday against the Timbers and start at $12.
