Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL and the team's merchandise outlet, the Fan-Attic (645 Penn Street, Reading, PA, 610-898-7825 x 2; Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm), today released a special "Can't Lose" Battle of the Badges T-Shirt, which (for the first time ever) displays support for both the Reading Fire and Police Departments' hockey teams. That way, regardless of who wins the big 'Showdown on Sunday' (February 27 @ 1:00 pm at the Sovereign Center), you're guaranteed to be a winner. Costs for the special t-shirts are just $18.00 with XXL and XXXL sizes available for $20.00. Supplies are limited, and fans can pre-order prior to Saturday by calling the Fan-Attic (610-898-7825 x 2). Shirts will also be available at the Sovereign Center on Sunday. Please note that no other discounts apply. Also, remember that you'll feel like a winner in your new Battle of the Badges T-shirt not only when you're watching the Reading Fire and Police hockey teams go at it; but also when the Royals face the Gwinnett Gladiators that same afternoon at 4:05 pm.

The Royals take on the Trenton Devils tomorrow (Wednesday, February 23, 2011 @ 7:05) at the Sovereign Center, when the team will host the "Royals Wings Fest," which will feature an intermission wings eating contest. The Royals game day broadcast will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show presented by The Works at Wyomissing on the Royals Broadcast Network (WRAW 1340 am in Reading, www.1340wraw.com) at 6:35 pm.
