The Pasco City Council recently approved the allocation of 2019 Lodging Tax receipts as recommended by the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee. The approved recommendation paves the way for financing of $2 million of improvements/upgrades to Gesa Stadium, to be repaid with lodging tax proceeds of $160,000 annually over an estimated 20 years.

Lodging tax is collected by local hotels on a per night basis and re-distributed in the city it was collected, in an effort to promote tourism.

Gesa Stadium is a 23 year old facility owned by the City of Pasco and hosts over 100,000 guests per year for Tri-City Dust Devils baseball, City of Pasco's Grand Old 4th of July Celebration, WIAA 3A and 4A State Baseball Championships, and several other events throughout the year.

"We look forward to working with the City of Pasco to identify improvements to Gesa Stadium that will allow the ballpark to continue to have a positive economic impact on the local economy and enhance the quality of life for all of us in the Tri-Cities", stated Dust Devils President Brent Miles.

Dust Devils 2019 Opening Night is Friday, June 14th. Ticket packages start at just $56, with full-season tickets available starting at only $285. Special ticket rates are available for groups of 20 or more. Season tickets, mini-plans, and group tickets can be purchased by contacting the Dust Devils front office at (509) 544-8789 or at the Gesa Stadium box office.
