Georgia Force News Release
SCRIMMAGE: Today, the Georgia Force faced-off with the New Orleans VooDoo in the team's second scrimmage of training camp. The Force put on a solid performance in front of 100 of their season ticket holders as both the offense and defense made plays throughout the scrimmage. The first-team offense moved the ball consistently down the field, but could not convert on fourth down. QB Chris Greisen completed passes to WR Derek Lee and WR Chris Jackson during their series. It didn't take long for Georgia's first-team defense to make a play. On their first series of the day, LB Eric Johnson recovered a fumble and returned it six yards for a touchdown. WR Brent Holmes hauled in a touchdown pass from QB James MacPherson while crashing into the wall. QB Ryan Vena finished the scrimmage with a touchdown pass to WR Troy Bergeron.
Georgia opens the regular season in Arizona on Saturday, March 3 at 9 p.m. ET.
