
Georgia Force sign veteran QB Glen Gauntt

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force have signed veteran QB Glen Gauntt to bolster their roster for the playoff drive.
Gauntt, a four-year veteran of the AFL played for the Force in 2005 and was with the club through Week 1 of this season, Gauntt completed 15-of-18 passes for 177 yards and four touchdowns in limited action last year. Prior to joining the Force, he spent time with the Dallas Desperados in 2004 and with the Carolina Cobras in 2003. In 2004, under the tutelage of current Force offensive coordinator Steve Thonn, Gauntt threw for 3,009 yards for 58 touchdowns, while completing 60.2% of his passes.
The Force (8-7) will host the Philadelphia Soul (8-7) on Saturday, May 13, at 7:00 p.m., in Philips Arena. For ticket information, call the Force ticket office at (404)-223-8000.
