Georgia Force lineman Adrine signs with Atlanta Falcons

ATLANTA, GA. â The Georgia Force announced today that offensive/ defensive lineman Bruce Adrine has been signed to a free agent contract by the National Football League's Atlanta Falcons. Adrine becomes the first player in the Force's three-year history to sign with an NFL club following his time with the Force.
ADRINE (6-4, 280, Georgia) had a solid rookie season in 2004, registering 8.5 tackles, one sack and two forced fumbles in 11 games played. He also contributed on offense with two receptions for 21 yards. Adrine's other pro experience came in 2003 when he played for the Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe and later that year with the af2's Tennessee Valley Vipers. While at the University of Georgia, Adrine started in 13 of the 26 games he played in during his four years, accumulating career statistics of 67 tackles, five sacks, eight tackles for loss and one fumble recovery. He attended Lakeside High School in Atlanta.
Last week, the No. 1-seeded Arizona Rattlers (13-5) earned the right to host the No. 2-seeded San Jose SaberCats (13-5) in ArenaBowl XVIII at America West Arena on June 27 at 4 p.m. ET on NBC. ArenaBowl XVIII will mark a re-match of ArenaBowl XVI â which San Jose defeated Arizona 52-14 in 2002. This will be Arizona's fifth ArenaBowl appearance (1994, 1997, 2002, 2003 and 2004) and third straight â having won titles two titles (1994 and 1997). It will be San Jose's second ArenaBowl appearance (2002 and 2004) â having won against Arizona in 2002.
