FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force (9-1) can clinch a playoff berth this weekend with a win against the Los Angeles Avengers as the Mitsubishi Motors Drive to ArenaBowl XXI New Orleans heats up.
Following their bye-week, Georgia returns to action as they travel to Los Angeles to take on the Avengers on Saturday, May 19 at 10:30 p.m., in the Staples Center. The regular season series is currently tied 2-2 with the Avengers winning the last match-up 46-41(2005). In 2007, the Force have posted a 3-0 record against Western Division teams and under head coach Doug Plank Georgia is 6-3 when they face teams from the Western Division.
