Jackson, Tenn. - The Jackson Generals will host the first of two baseball camps June 18 at the Ballpark at Jackson prior to the team's game against the Birmingham Barons that night. Kids will have the opportunity to learn the game from Double-A players in addition to much more in a fun-filled day!

Jackson Generals Baseball Camp starts at 9 am on Thursday, June 18 and runs all the way through noon. It is open to boys and girls from ages 5 to 14. Kids will spend the majority of the three hours learning the game of baseball from a number of Jackson Generals players.

Also included in the day is a sack lunch and autograph session with the players! Each kid who attends the camp will also receive a free general admission ticket to the night's game as Jackson takes on the Birmingham Barons, so they'll be able to watch the players they learned from earlier in action in a professional game!

The Generals will also host a baseball camp on Thursday, July 23 prior to a game against the Montgomery Biscuits. Registration is now open for both of the Jackson Generals Baseball Camps this summer for the low cost of $50 per camper! You can pre-register by filling out the registration form and returning it with a check to Jackson Generals Baseball at the office or at the Sam's Club Fan Relations Kiosk during any Generals home game. You can also mail it to the team by addressing it to attn: Tabitha Causey, 4 Fun Place, Jackson, TN 38305.

For more information about the camp and how you can sign your child up, contact Tabitha Causey with the Generals by phone at (731) 988.5299 or via email at tcausey@jacksongeneralsbaseball.com.
