
Generals still have openings for golf tournament

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals Golf Outing is fast approaching and there is still time to register your team. The 2008 Golf Outing is set for Sunday, Oct. 12 at Sugarbush Golf Club located at 1 Sugarbush Drive in Davison.
There are still seven spots open for golf teams and the registration fee $65 per person or $350 for a hole sponsorship including a foursome to golf. Each foursome will play with a Flint Generals player, coach or staff member. Registration begins at 9:30 am and a shotgun start tees off the event at 11 am.
The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, range privileges before the start of the tourney, lunch, dinner, plaques for 1st through 3rd place, closest to the pin holes, longest drive plus other great events.
Golfers also receive a $25 gift card from the PGA Tour Superstore courtesy of Patsy Lou Williamson Buick/GMC for participating. If a golfer should manage to notch a hole-in-one, they will receive a lease of a car for a year courtesy of Patsy Lou Williamson, Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac and GMC.
This golf outing is a great opportunity to meeting the 08-09 Flint Generals players and coaching staff as well as getting in a final round of golf before the end of the season. A Chicken and Ribs Dinner takes place at 5:45 pm and fans can get a dinner only ticket for just $20. A social hour prior to the dinner begins at 4:30 pm.
