May 4, 2010 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Flint Generals News Release

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals and Muskegon Lumberjacks will renew hostilities tonight at 7pm at Perani Arena for game 6 of their best of 7 series in the IHL Turner Cup Playoffs. Muskegon leads the series 3 games to 2 with game 7, if Flint wins tonight, scheduled to be played in Muskegon tomorrow night.

Flint won game 5 in Muskegon by a 5-2 score to stave off elimination and force tonight's game. The Generals attack was lead by captain Pascal Rheaume who had 2 goals on the night, and veteran center Bryan Smolinski who had a goal and an assist. Rob Nolan picked up the victory in net for the Generals. Muskegon will be without defenseman Mario Larocque, who will be sitting out a one game suspension as a result of the 5 minute boarding call he received when he hit Generals rookie Matt Moffat from behind during the 2nd period of Saturday's game. The winner of this series will face the two time defending Turner Cup Champion, Fort Wayne Komets who defeated the Port Huron Icehawks last night 4-0 to win their semi final series 4 games to 3.

Tickets for tonight's Game 6 are on sale at the Perani Arena Box Office, by phone by calling (810) 744-0580 or online at ticketmaster.com
