
Generals Look To Extend Home Winning Streak Tomorrow

FLINT, MI - The final two weeks of the International Hockey League regular season faces-off for the Flint Generals tomorrow (Wednesday) night when they host the Muskegon Fury at 7 pm at Perani Arena and Event Center.
With a victory, the Generals will try to extending their home unbeaten streak to four games and take a four-points lead over the Muskegon Fury and a five-point advantage on the idol fifth place Kalamazoo Wings. The Generals and the Fury met last Wednesday morning in the school day game that Flint won 4-2.
It's the first of two meetings this week between the clubs who will go head-to-head on Sunday afternoon in their final regular season confrontation. The Generals have a mark of 7-5-2-1 in the previous 15 meetings including four victories at LC Walker Arena in Muskegon. Goaltender Eric Marvin has five wins against the Fury in the season-long series, while forward Josef Fojtik has notched nine goals and Michel Beausoleil has a total of 23 points.
The Generals will welcome back to the line-up goaltender Chad Alban who has been sidelined since early December with an injury. Wednesday's game kicks off a busy week for the Generals who will play four games in five nights. Flint travels to Kalamazoo this Friday night at 7:30 pm at Wings Stadium in the next to last meeting between the two sides.
The Generals are back at home at Perani Arena and Event Center on Saturday night at 7:30 pm with a game against the Bloomington Prairie Thunder and Sunday afternoon with a second match up with the Muskegon Fury at 4 pm.
On Saturday night, the IHL Turner Cup and Huber Trophy will be in attendance and fans are encouraged to bring their cameras and take pictures. It will be the first time that fans will be able to see the newly redesigned trophies.

The Generals have also announced that playoff tickets are on sale for the 2008 Turner Cup Playoffs. The playoff ticket options have changed slightly from last year. Season Ticket holders can purchase seats for each round in advance or game-by-game. Seats not purchased will be released 48 hours prior to the game. If the Generals don't play all of their playoff games, a refund will be issued within 30 days of the end of the playoffs.
Season Ticket holders will be offered a $2 discount off the regular playoff ticket price. Season Ticket holder prices are for Center Ice: Adults $11; Senior 55 and Up $9; Students 11-21 years of age $7 (Students 18 to 21 years of age must present Student ID); Children 3 to 10 years $6; Children 2 and under are free.
The prices for End Zones are the following: Adults $9; Seniors 55 and Up $7; Students 11-21 years of age $5 (Students 18 to 21 years of age must present Student ID); Children 3 to 10 years of age $4; Children 2 and Under are free.
The General Public Walk-Up Prices are for Center Ice: Adults $13; Senior 55 and Up $11; Students 11-21 years of age $9 (Students 18 to 21 years of age must present Student ID); Children 3 to 10 years $8; Children 2 and under are free.
The prices for End Zones are the following: Adults $11; Seniors 55 and Up $9; Students 11-21 years of age $7 (Students 18 to 21 years of age must present Student ID); Children 3 to 10 years of age $6; Children 2 and Under are free.
