February 16, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Greensboro Generals News Release

Greensboro, NC — The Greensboro Generals of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) have announced their home game originally scheduled for 4:00 this afternoon against the Roanoke Express has been postponed. The postponement is due to the current ice storm that is going through both Greensboro and Roanoke. The game will be made up on Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum.

All tickets for today's game will be valid for the game on March 26 only. In addition, because this game was originally scheduled for yesterday, February 15, tickets with that date on it will also be valid for March 26.

The Generals next game is at the Greensboro Coliseum on Tuesday, February 18 against the Augusta Lynx at 7:00. That game will now mark the debut of newcomers Bryan Richardson and Mike Oliveira, who were acquired in a trade with the Baton Rouge Kingfish yesterday.

As a reminder, the Generals home game on Friday, February 28 against the Columbia Inferno is "Pack the House" night. The Generals will wear Carolina Monarchs jerseys that night that will be auctioned off live after the game. Among other events that night, WWE's Shawn Michaels will be on hand to sign autographs, and a concession price of $2.50 will be available for a hot dog and a Monarchs sport bottle drink. Ticket prices range from $10.00 - $17.00, with tickets as low as $8.00 for students and seniors. Group tickets for the game on February 28 are only $6.00 each if you buy ten or more tickets.
