
Generals Fall to Muskegon

Flint Generals News Release
Flint, MI- The Generals played a tough game against the Muskegon Lumberjacks Sunday afternoon with a final score of 4-3 in a shootout.
John Mori scored the Gens first goal at 10:03 of the first unassisted. Rick Smith scored his first of the season with a wraparound at 12:39 of the second period. Gentile scored the Generals 3rd goal tying the game at 3-3 sending the game into overtime. The Generals came out on top with goals from Jamie Schaafsma and Pascal Rheaume.
Robin Bouchard scored two goals for the Lumberjacks, his first was at 5:10 of the first, getting a pass from John DiPace, Todd Robinson also assisted. His second was at 8:24. Matt Krug had second Muskegon goal, finding the back of the net at 7:38, DiPace assisted on the play.
Rob Nolan stopped all 35 shots faced in regulation. This was the second game the Gens won in a row, the first time they've done so this season.
