
Generals Double up on Petes

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes dropped a 12-6 decision to the Generals in Oshawa on Friday night in what was the first of back-to-back games between the long-time division rivals.
Chad Denault (6), Liam Kirk (17), Semyon Der-Arguchintsev (6), and Adam Timleck (18) scored at even strength. Zach Gallant (6) and Nick Robertson (18) scored shorthanded markers.
Robertson, Ryan Merkley, and Austin Osmanski recorded two assists each, while Kirk, Brady Hinz, Declan Chisholm, and Christopher Paquette registered single assists.
Final shots were 46-37 in favour of Oshawa. The Petes were 1/3 on the power play and 1/6 on the penalty kill.
The Generals come to Peterborough for the tenth annual Pink in the Rink game on Saturday, February 2 at 7:05pm. An extremely limited number of tickets are available through the Baker Tilly Box Office in person, over the phone at (705) 743-3561, and online.
