Gems fall to Komets

The Gems took home ice at Hara tonight to play the Fort Wayne Komets. The Gems took the lead just before the halfway point in the 1st period. It took the Komets just under 4 minutes to tie up the game. Dayton held Fort Wayne until the last 7 minutes of the 2nd period when the Komets took the lead and only 32 seconds scored again. In the 3rd Fort Wayne would add 2 more goals in the last 5 minutes of the game. Fort Wayne 5 - Dayton 1.
