
Gems Beat Sweets 10-9 on Walk off Double by Karraker in Ninth

Klamath Falls OR - Gems won in dramatic fashion Thursday night as Jack Karraker's (Fresno City College) two out double in the bottom of the ninth scored two runs and give the Gems their fourth straight win-second in a row over the Walla Walla Sweets, 10-9.
Karraker also earned the win in relief, improving to 1-0. Chet Thompson (University of Portland) paced Klamath Falls with four hits, with Cole Trezek (Loyola Marymount University) and Tyson Dahl (Oregon Tech) each adding three more, contributing to the Gems 20 hit attack. Sean Luke-Bria took the loss in relief, evening his record at 1-1.
Friday June 14th the Gems play the finale of the series as they host the Walla Walla Sweets at Kiger Stadium; with first pitch at 6:35 pm. Friday's promotion is Seat Cushion Giveaway (Courtesy of Fisher Nicholson Realty) for the first 400 fans in attendance.
