Kearney, NE. - The Tri-City Storm conclude a five game homestand tonight at the Viaero Center against the Lincoln Stars. The Storm have won seven of the previous eight games against the Stars this season, including a 4-2 home defeat of Lincoln last Friday night at the Viaero Center. Tonight's game will be the final game before the Storm begin a season-long stretch of six consecutive road games. The Storm will be back inside the Viaero Center for the final two games of the 2018-2019 regular season on Friday April 12th, and Saturday April 13th. Tickets for tonight's home game can be purchased through the team's official website, www.StormHockey.com, or by calling the Viaero Center Box Office at (308) 338-8144. Puck drop for tonight's rivalry game is set for 7:05pm.

Tri-City (40-10-2-1) hosts rival Lincoln tonight at the Viaero Center following an 8-1 thrashing of rival Omaha last Saturday night. The Tri-City offensive outburst saw eight different players score goals in the game, and Isaiah Saville recorded his 21st victory of the season in net following an 18 save on 19 shot performance. The Storm tied a season high for most goals scored in a single game this season and set a new season high for most goals scored in a home game this year. Tri-City's 54 shots on goal also marked the most shots on goal the Storm have registered in a single game this season. The Storm have dominated the regular season series against the Lincoln Stars, and will look to continue that dominance in tonight's final game of the season series. Tri-City has outscored Lincoln 30-15 over the previous eight games in the season series. With nine games remaining in the 2018-2019 regular season, the Storm currently hold a seven-point advantage over the Muskegon Lumberjacks for 1st place in the USHL league standings, and a twelve-point advantage over the Waterloo Black Hawks in the Western Conference standings.

Lincoln (11-35-3-3) travels to Kearney tonight for the final time this season following a 4-2 loss to the Storm last weekend. The Stars haven't played since Friday's road loss to Tri-City and seek to snap an eight-game road losing streak tonight. Lincoln is the only Western Conference team that has been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention and has won just victory in its last ten games. In last Friday's road loss to the Storm the Stars got goals in the game from Steven Agriogianis and Arlo Merritt. Samuel Hlavaj made 33 saves on 37 shots to record the loss in net. Following tonight's rivalry matchup against the Storm, the Stars conclude the week of play with road games against Muskegon and Chicago on Saturday and Sunday.

Today's game is set to begin at 7:05pm CT, and will be streamed live on HockeyTV, and Storm Radio. For home game tickets, and additional information on the Tri-City Storm, visit www.StormHockey.com or call 308-338-8144.
