
Gameday elements will include Paws in the Park and DU Championship recognition

DENVER - The Denver Outlaws (4-2) will host the Ohio Machine (3-3) at Paws at the Park presented by Miller Lite and befitting the Dumb Friends League on Friday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High with faceoff set for 7:05 p.m. MST. The game is sponsored by 7NEWS and will be broadcast on Altitude Sports.
Tickets for Paws at the Park are available now for $15 with $5 donated to the Dumb Friends League (DFL). The DFL, headquartered in Denver, is the largest community-based animal welfare organization in the Rocky Mountain region with one of the highest placement rates of homeless pets in the country among shelters of similar size. Special tickets to designated section 135 must be purchased through www.denveroutlaws.com. Regular game tickets will not provide access to the assigned pet section.
Tomorrow evening's half time will recognize the University of Denver Men's Lacrosse team who won the NCAA Division I Championship in a 10-5 victory over the University of Maryland on Monday. The team and coaches will be recognized on the field for their incredible journey to capture the title for the first time by the school.
DU became the first school to win a National Championship west of Chapel Hill, N.C. Head coach Bill Tierney brought home his seventh National Championship on Memorial Day, becoming the first coach in NCAA men's Division I to win a national title with two different programs. The Pioneers finished the campaign 17-2, recording the most wins in the program's history. DU's senior class, which includes the newest Outlaw, Wes Berg, finished with a combined record of 56-17, reaching three Championship Weekends, four NCAA Quarterfinals and capping off their career's with the program's first national title.
The Denver Outlaws' Steinfeld Trophy and the Denver Pioneers' NCAA Championship Trophy will be available for fan photo opportunities at section 105 for the first quarter and half of the second.
