(New Britain, CT) - New Britain team officials announced this afternoon that due to inclement weather, this evening's matchup between the New Britain Bees and York Revolution has been postponed. The game will be made up as part of a single admission doubleheader featuring two seven-inning contests on Sunday, May 20th at New Britain Stadium. First pitch in game one is scheduled for 1:35 P.M., with game two taking place approximately thirty minutes after the conclusion of game one. Photo provided courtesy of Dave Csordas.
New Britain concludes their three-game weekend series with the reigning Atlantic League of Professional Baseball Champion York Revolution on Sunday, May 20th in a single-admission doubleheader at New Britain Stadium. First pitch in game one is scheduled for 1:35 P.M. It will be another YMCA Family Fun Day in the Hardware City. Prior to the game, fans will be invited onto the field for an autograph session with the Bees. After the game, kids can take the field and run the bases! All Xfinity Kids Club members can also watch the game for free! If you haven't yet, be sure to sign your child up to be a member of the Xfinity Kids Club! It's the coolest club around and is free to join!
