Game Preview: San Diego Seals vs. Colorado Mammoth
May 3, 2023 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
San Diego Seals News Release
With the regular season having drawn to a close, the San Diego Seals gear up to take on the Colorado Mammoth on Friday, May 5 at Pechanga Arena for the single-elimination Quarterfinal match in the first round of playoffs. Face off is set for 7pm PT.
The Seals are currently the No. 1 seed in the West, with Colorado claiming the No. 4 spot after their 11-8 loss against San Diego last Saturday in the final game of the regular season.
Friday's game will be the epitome of unfinished business, with both teams having it out for one another. The Seals are seeking redemption from last year's playoff run, where Colorado put an end to their season for good in Game 3 of the Conference Finals. The Mammoth, on the other hand, will be hungry for a rematch after last Saturday night, where things got very physical very fast at Pechanga Arena.
Tickets for Friday's Quarterfinal game are available to purchase HERE. Fans will be gifted a fun surprise at the door to get everyone fired up for the big playoff game, along with the usual fan favorites and photo opportunities with the Sirens Dance Team and Salty the mascot. There will also be limited number of 2023 NLL Playoff shirts available to purchase at the merch stand. Grab your friends and family and come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the Seals!
If the Seals win vs. Colorado this Friday, they will advance to the Semifinals. With the #1 seed secured, the Seals will host the winner of the Calgary/Panther City game on Thursday, May 11 at Pechanga Arena.
