Tonight's Matchup:
After the Express fell 7-3 to Cincinnati last night, Chicago looks for redemption this afternoon as they return to the road for the first of two games in Kalamazoo. The Wings have been playing well of late, as Kalamazoo is unbeaten in their last four outings with a 3-0-0-1 record, including a shootout victory over Gwinnett last night. The Express, meanwhile, are looking for their first win since February 4, a 2-1 victory over the Elmira Jackals. This game marks the seventh time in the last nine games that the Express have played away from the Sears Centre Arena, and are 3-2-1-0 in their away games during this stretch.
Express Notes:
Chicago has scored exactly two power play goals in each of their last three games. The Express have never scored more than two power play goals in a single games in club history... Last night's loss marked the first regulation loss on a home Saturday night for the Express this season. Chicago is now 5-1-1 at home on Saturdays... G Peter Mannino is expected to start his 17th straight game for Chicago tonight.
