ECHL Announces Fines, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Sunday announced the following fines and suspension resulting from ECHL Game #519, Colorado at Stockton, on Feb. 18.
Colorado assistant coach Greg Pankewicz has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount. Pankewicz was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #39.5 at the conclusion of the game. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Pankewicz will miss Colorado's game at Stockton on Feb. 19.
Colorado's Joey Sides has been fined an undisclosed amount. Sides was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for slashing under Rule #61.5 at 19:56 of the third period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
