Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers (31-17-3-1) look to keep their distance from the rest of the pack in the Central Division standings with a trip to the Brandt Centre with their 5th and final match-up of the season against the Regina Pats (20-26-4-2) Tuesday night.
It's been a homer series between the Tigers & Pats with both teams picking up wins in their respective home rinks coming to the final set against each other. The Tigers do hold a 2-1-1 record against Regina but fell in overtime on the road against the Pats 5-4 on January 22nd. But picked up a 5-2 win at home on February 6th.
To begin the week, the Tigers are four points clear of the Red Deer Rebels for 1st in the Central Division, along with the coveted second seed in the Eastern Conference. While Regina is five points out of a playoff spot with 16 games to go in the regular season.
