Galli Cribbs Jr. Purchased by Miami Marlins

GENEVA, Ill. - The Miami Marlins have purchased infielder Galli Cribbs Jr. from the Kane County Cougars, announced today. Johnson will be sent to the Marlins Triple-A affiliate, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.
"Galli was excellent for us," said Cougars Manager George Tsamis. "He is an exciting player to watch and was very good defensively. He swung the bat very well for us and he earned this opportunity with the Marlins. We wish him the best."
During his time with the Cougars this season, Cribbs Jr. averaged .325 in 12 games with 40 at bats. The Katy, Texas native also recorded eight runs, 13 hits and four RBIs. The shortstop also flashed the leather with a .936 fielding percentage. On May 19, Cribbs Jr. hit an RBI triple in the second inning to lead the Cougars to their first victory of the season.
