LA Galaxy News Release
CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, March 7, 2007) - The Los Angeles Galaxy will host their annual Fan Fest on Sunday, April 1 at 2 p.m. at The Home Depot Center. The event, which is free to all fans, will feature raffles, interactive booths, family-friendly entertainment and much more to create a party-like atmosphere at The Home Depot Center with which to kickoff the 2007 MLS season.
Additionally, fans will get a chance to tour the Galaxy locker room, watch the team's training session on the stadium field and get autographs following training. This will allow fans to meet the entire 2007 Galaxy roster, including new faces like goalkeeper Joe Cannon and forward Nate Jaqua, and give them the chance to see all that goes into the daily life of their favorite Galaxy players.
More than 2,500 Galaxy fans attended the inaugural Fan Fest last March. Fans who were in attendance were given a sneak peek at the design for the club's championship rings, as well as a chance to get up close and personal with the 2006 Galaxy squad.
