
Galaxy place forward Thiago De Souza on waiver list

CARSON, CA (Wednesday, June 7, 2006) - The Los Angeles Galaxy have placed Brazilian forward Thiago De Souza on waivers the club announced today. De Souza, signed with the Galaxy on April 6 and appeared in three MLS matches with the club, making his debut on May 6.
De Souza was signed as a youth international on the Galaxy roster and started and played in one MLS Reserve Division game with Los Angeles.
The defending 2005 MLS Cup Champion Los Angeles Galaxy host the second edition of the 2006 Honda Super Clasico when it plays CD Chivas USA at The Home Depot Center on Thursday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m. PT presented by Herbalife. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN2, CASH 1700 AM (English) and KXME 830 AM (Spanish).
