
G Andrew Perugini Reassigned From Springfield

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League and Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League, announced Springfield has reassigned goaltender Andrew Perugini (pair-uh-JEE-nee) to the Thunder.
Perugini, 21, is back with the Thunder and will suit up for the team's next game at Utah on Friday, Mar. 12 at 6:05 p.m.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound goaltender has twice earned the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week award in his career, once this season (Feb. 8-14) and is 17-11-3 in 35 games this season, ranking second in ECHL save percentage (.916), tied for third in goals-against-average (2.70) while adding a career high three shutouts.
In 72 career games with the Thunder, spanning the last two seasons (2008-10), he has posted a 38-24-7 record,.912 save percentage,.276 goals-against-average and five shutouts.
Perugini, currently playing under an AHL contract to Springfield, has amassed a record of 0-3-1 with a 4.04 goals-against-average and.874 save percentage in four AHL games this year.
The Thunder announced Matt Pamidi has been released as emergency backup goaltender.
A two-time recipient of the ECHL "Award of Excellence," the Thunder was voted "Best Local Sports Team" by readers of the San Joaquin Magazine, has led the ECHL in attendance for four consecutive seasons and drew 223,854 fans to Stockton Arena in 2008-09.
