
Furious Rally Propels Warriors Past Rush 11-9

SASKATOON SK - Down 9-5 heading into the final quarter, the Vancouver Warriors shut the door, scoring the final six goals of the game, and rallying to beat the hometown Saskatchewan Rush 11-9 before 8250 stunned fans at SaskTel Centre.
The Rush had leads of 7-3 at halftime and 9-5 after three quarters, but the Warriors then went to work. Adam Charalambides scored three fourth-quarter goals and then added the assist on the game winner by Keegan Bal with four minutes to play. Charalambides finished the night with four goals and three assists for a team leading seven points, while Bal added a hat trick and two assists for five points as well. Other scorers for Vancouver on the evening were New Westminster's Kevin Crowley with a pair, while Ryan Martel and Riley Loewen also hit the mark.
Aaron Bold turned aside 38 of 47 shots to pick up his second win of the season.
The Warriors move to 2-4 on the season and will head home for a game next Friday night against the Colorado Mammoth on COLLEGE Night. Opening faceoff will go at 7 PM.
