
Full 2003 Schedule Announced

Richmond Roosters News Release
Three new places to play, new divisional lineups, division rivalries and six more games headline the changes in the new 2003 Frontier League schedule announced today.
Kenosha, Wisconsin replaces Dubois County, Mid Missouri, playing in Columbia, Missouri replaces the Canton, Ohio club and Florence, Kentucky takes the place of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania franchise.
The new divisions will be:
EAST â Richmond, Washington, Chillicothe, Florence, Evansville and Kalamazoo
WEST â Cook County, Rockford, Mid Missouri, River City, Gateway and Kenosha
The division rival partnership is new this year and was the mechanism used to increase the Frontier League season from 84 to 90 games. The division rivals will open and close the season with three games at each club, thus increasing the home season to 45 games. The Roosters rival will be Evansville. We will open the season at Evansville and the Otters will close the season at McBride Stadium.
The Richmond Roosters will defend their back to back Frontier League Championships with this 90 game 2003 schedule, which includes a scheduled double header. All games Monday through Friday will start at 6:35 PM. Sunday games will start at 4:35 PM.
